Duties include; set-up and run: turrets, punching machines, presses, press brakes, laser, shears, spot welder, pemnutter or any other equipment within your department. be a team player and willing to cross train in all areas of the department is required on a regular basis. Regular inspection of production is necessary to insure quality.· *3rd shift fabricators usually have an option of working 5-8 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts, and times are pretty flexible starting between 8-10PM· Must be willing to work overtime (10-12 hrs.) when needed.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Ability to set up and run: turrets, punching machines, presses, press brakes, lasers, shears, and pemnutter.Individual must be able to read blueprints and use measuring tools.Individual may have to stand for up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.Applicant must have at least 2 years of sheet metal experienceMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Basic computer skills are requiredMust be willing to cross-train1 year of mechanics and electronics experienceMust be able to comprehend assembly drawings and bills of materialOvertime will be required Company DescriptionSTL is a Technical Employment Agency
