Overview
We are seeking experienced Owner-Operator Drivers to join our team for an immediate opening. The job is for a dedicated local Power Only position based in Harlingen, TX
Duties
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance logs.
- Communicate effectively within the app regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Requirements
- Valid commercial Class A driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated.
- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving principles.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- At least six consecutive months of active Authority. Preferred but not recommended can be less. New Authority is welcome.
Position Highlights
- Location: Harlingen, TX
- Type of Work: Dedicated Power Only Local 95% drop and hook
- Loads: Loaded Trailers (Wood Pallets)
- Work Schedule: Monday through Sunday (24/7) (Pick your schedule per week or per day), recommended at least 4 days per week.
- Average Earnings: 3 -4 Loads per day
- Distance: Average miles one way 10 - 70
- Flexibility: No Contract
- Consistency: Harlingen, TX, has approximately 72 facilities serviced, ensuring you stay busy daily.
