About the Opportunity
Our client, a growing and highly respected insurance agency, is seeking an Employee Benefits Associate Client Manager to join its Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity for an employee benefits professional who enjoys building relationships, delivering exceptional client service, and partnering with organizations to create innovative benefits solutions.
In this role, you’ll support an established book of business while helping drive continued growth within the employee benefits practice. You’ll work closely with clients, carriers, and internal teams to manage day-to-day service needs, coordinate renewals, and contribute to strategic initiatives that help organizations better manage their employee benefits programs.
What You’ll Do
- Support the management and servicing of an assigned book of employee benefits business.
- Partner with senior team members to deliver exceptional client experiences and proactive account support.
- Assist with marketing and placement activities for both new and existing accounts.
- Coordinate annual renewals and ensure timely communication with insurance carriers and clients.
- Review policies and plan documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide prompt, professional, and solutions-oriented service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carrier partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with projects and initiatives that support the continued growth of the employee benefits practice.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure the confidentiality of client and company information.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and employee benefits products to continuously enhance knowledge and expertise.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of employee benefits insurance experience preferred.
- Active Life & Health insurance license required.
- Experience working across multiple lines of employee benefits coverage.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with agency management systems; EPIC experience is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
