Granite & Quartz Countertop Installer

Stix & Stones, Inc. is looking for a motivated, dependable individual to join our installation team. Whether you’re experienced in countertop installation or looking to start a new career, we’re willing to train the right person. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Our installers work in teams of two to three people, delivering and installing custom granite, quartz, marble, and porcelain countertops throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho.

What You’ll Do

• Install natural and engineered stone countertops in residential and commercial settings.
• Load, transport, and unload stone materials safely.
• Verify measurements and ensure proper fit during installation.
• Install sinks and complete final adjustments for a clean, professional finish.
• Perform seam work, leveling, polishing, and final touch-ups.
• Work alongside cabinet installers, contractors, and other trades to ensure successful project completion.
• Protect customers’ homes and businesses while maintaining a clean and organized job site.
• Communicate professionally with customers and fellow team members.
• Follow company safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques.
• Assist in the shop with fabrication or preparation when needed.

Schedule & Travel

• Monday through Friday.
• Approximately 40% of projects are local and 60% require travel to job sites located 1–3 hours away.
• All drive time is paid.
• Overnight travel is rare—you’ll typically be home by 8:00 PM.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in construction, countertop installation, cabinetry, or a related trade is a plus—but not required. We will train the right candidate.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to communicate respectfully with coworkers, customers, and other trades on the job site.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position. Applicants must be able to:

• Safely move and carry heavy stone materials weighing 200 pounds with team assistance and proper equipment.
• Frequently lift materials to shoulder height.
• Squat, kneel, bend, twist, and climb throughout the workday.
• Work inside cabinet boxes and other confined spaces during installation.
• Stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
