What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician position at Stirling Management?
Field Technician:
Clean driving record.
Back ground checks to be completed and monitored.
Be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Maintain a polite and courteous attitude toward guests, clients, vendors, and staff.
Maintain clear and uncluttered workspace(s).
Knowledge of basic tools and the ability to properly operate such tools.
Ability to perform basic building maintenance, i.e. repairs, small furniture repairs, painting touch-ups, landscaping, etc. and willingness to learn new skills.
Notify Field Supervisor of any guest/owner comments and complaints in a timely manner.
Submit all Service Requests as you complete them. Service Requests must include details of work completed, applicable photos, inventory supplies used, receipt amounts and photo, and amounts of any materials purchased. This time must be tracked by client and task. All time must be accounted for, including work for the company and/or non-billable time. All time must be recorded and submitted for billing via the SM website on a daily basis.
Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by Manager/Supervisor /Owner.
Complete tasks and projects delegated by Field Supervisor.
Assist other departments as necessary.
Landscaping and snow removal tasks.
Purchase project/property materials upon request and approval.
Relay any damages or extra cleaning hours to Field Supervisor after each departure.
Comply with client/property procedures.
Comply with HOA rules & regulations.
Relay any incomplete Service Requests or vendor meetings to the Office Manager for rescheduling.
Provide general concierge to clients and renters
Each employee must be able to perform the essential functions of their position. This position requires the ability to repeatedly lift and move approximately 50 lbs. for various landscaping and maintenance projects to a height of 3-4 feet. Occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to service lights and ceiling fans. Constantly positions self to maintain office and heavy equipment. Frequently communicate with other staff, clients, and vendors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Must be able to detect errors in physical and digital work and learn technical material. Constantly work in outdoor weather conditions and potentially environments with dust/insects/rodents/pet waste and dander. Employees are expected to make quick decisions, supervise workers, and interpret data.
