Office Administrator

The Office Administrator is the friendly face (or voice) everyone meets when they reach out to our headquarters. You’ll be the first point of contact, making sure every visitor or caller feels welcomed and ready to have a great experience with us. Think of yourself as the gatekeeper to all things Stinker, ensuring things run smoothly while making a fantastic first impression!

What you’ll do

  • Delivers Stinkin’ Awesome customer service as the first point of contact for all employees, vendors, and walk-ins to the company. This role is the keeper of the Den!
  • Process and route incoming communications, including deliveries, mail, manning (skunking?) the customer support help desk, and phone, as well as own vendor relationships for the office (janitorial, supplies, delivery services, etc.).
  • Orders and maintains office supplies.
  • Support the Stinker Leadership team, which is like herding cats… or skunks in this case.
  • Manage the Company’s Years of Service Program- preparing awards, printing certificates, and delivering them to owners for distribution.
  • Coordinate and assist with employee engagement activities- ensuring employees feel appreciated and recognized, because our Stinkers deserve the love!

What you’ll need

  • Solution focused thinking- You get 5 minutes to complain, then we kick tail!
  • Effective time management and attention to detail- there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in every direction!
  • Act as an agent for change; being flexible and patient, open to suggestions, and a keen eye for opportunities to improve processes.
  • Eager to dive into duties as assigned and escalate any issues to leadership.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, both with co-workers and over the telephone with outside vendors, customers, and company personnel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, treat others with dignity and respect and maintain a positive attitude in the department.
  • Comfortable working with a wide variety of people at all levels of the organization
  • Results-oriented with a willingness to take on/seek out new responsibilities and challenges during downtime.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years customer service experience - Retail customer service experience preferred.
  • Must consent to and pass a background check.
  • You don’t need to be a tech guru (we have a whole department for that!) but you’ll need to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the operation of standard office equipment (phones, copiers/printers, etc.).
  • Must be comfortable working while surrounded by furry friends (that’s right, we’re dog friendly!).
  • Work is performed under normal office conditions in a temperature-controlled environment, may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
