Cook

 

As a cook, you’ll chop, sauté, and flip your way through meals like a culinary prodigy, following recipes to perfection. You’ll assist the team, serve up food faster than you can say “order up!”, operating kitchen gear, keeping it safe (no kitchen catastrophes, please), and maintaining supply inventory. Plus, you'll clean, inspect, maintain, and stock- making sure everything’s fresh and properly labeled. Basically, you’re the sizzle behind the scenes!

What You’ll Do

  • Keep food safe and sound by following health and safety guidelines- no spills, no thrills, just proper storage and handling.
  • Cook up a storm using a variety of methods and tools, including grills and fryers.
  • Master the kitchen gadgets like a pro (slicers, mixers, fryers) while following safety expectations- there won’t be any missing fingers on our watch!
  • Receive, inspect, package, label and date products with eagle-eyed precision.
  • Stick to the HACCP guidelines like a pro, including verification and documentation of product – nothing slips past you!
  • Clean like you’re trying to impress your mom, and make sure inventory is always fresh and rotated.
  • HAVE FUN with an awesome company and team – It’s the Stinker way!

 

What You’ll Need

  • Must be at least 19 years of age or older
  • You don’t need to be an Olympic athlete, but you do need to be able to balance on a step stool or step ladder, lift up to 50 lbs., and work from floor to eye level.
  • Able to work in a cooler at an average temperature of 32 degrees (hey, at least it’s not Antarctica).
  • Must complete food safety class within 90 days of hire date.

Groundskeeper 

 

The Groundskeeper plays a key role in maintaining the smooth operations of company-owned assets, ensuring all facilities are in top shape. From Keeping the property polished, fixing up any issues as they arise, to performing minor repairs, an attention to detail helps create a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Clean fuel and oil spills, change liners, and empty trash from all outdoor cans, including those at fuel islands and parking areas, ensuring everything stays spick and span. 
  • Make sure everything receives the TLC it deserves by maintaining the car and diesel islands by replacing windshield washer fluid, replenishing towels, and keeping dispensers wiped down. 
  • Polish up the property by checking pole lights, signage, and providing necessary supply lists, while handling monthly tasks like pressure washing fuel islands and replacing air filters- “keeping it fresh” in every sense! 
  • Keep entryways, walkways, and pathways tidy, free from debris, weeds, and snow, ensuring safe and smooth travels year-round. 
  • Make sure everything is moving in the right direction by performing deep cleaning of dispensers, maintain outside windows, and handle minor repairs like replacing burnt-out lights and cleaning refrigeration coils. 
  • Respond to snow and rain events by plowing, shoveling, and pumping water from basins – so we are ready to weather any storm! 

 

What You’ll Need 

  • Ability to learn new concepts and stay organized, maintaining a high level of attention to detail while multitasking (there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in every direction!).

  • Solution focused thinking- You get 5 minutes to complain, then we kick tail!   

 

Requirements 

  • Must be at least 19 years of age or older. 
  • Must have reliable transportation in all seasons. 
  • Experience in landscaping and light maintenance is preferred. 
  • Able to spring into action on weekends and evenings, when needed, and shift gears quickly. 
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. 
  • You don’t need to be an Olympic athlete, but you do need to be able to balance on a step stool or step ladder, lift up to 80 lbs., and work from floor to eye level. 
  • Able to work in a cooler at an average temperature of 32 degrees (hey, at least it’s not Antarctica).

Store Manager  

 

The Store Manager position is perfect for someone who loves leading a team, thrives on the unexpected, and definitely doesn’t like being bored. If you can take the chaos of a busy day and turn it into a smooth, well-oiled retail machine for both employees and customers, then this may be the role for you! You’ll be all about growing your team, building our brand, and making sure the store is firing on all cylinders. As Store Manager, you’ll lead with energy, manage day-to-day operations, and make sure everything runs like clockwork – all while keeping the customers happy and satisfied! 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead with purpose: As a Stinkin' Awesome People Leader, you’ll go beyond managing—you’ll inspire, train, mentor, and find solutions, all while keeping things on track. 
  • From managing labor and driving sales to handling daily finances, community events, and new projects, you’ll balance routine tasks with exciting promotions and be an operational wizard. 
  • Keep a close eye on labor costs, inventory, waste, sales, and market trends. You'll make sure everything adds up through strategy and hard work (no magic required). 
  • Stay connected with the District Manager, leadership team, and Skunk Den support team. Know when to use your resources (we’ll provide them!) and solve problems quickly. 
  • Ensure product promotions are executed perfectly—adhere to pricing policies, display requirements, and vendor guidelines while keeping aligned with the brand. 

 

What You’ll Need 

  • Solution focused thinking- You get 5 minutes to complain, and then we solve problems and kick tail!

  • A proven history of asset, operational, and personnel management, as well as team development.

  • Familiar with the smell of success, so demonstrating experience in aiding the development of business strategies, cultures, and executing company business. 

 

Requirements 

  • Must be at least 19 years of age(Wdon’t make the rules… or law) 
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required. 
  • Must consent to and pass a background check. 
  • Minimum HS Diploma or GED with two years of prior retail store management experience 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within a leadership role (shift lead, asst. manager, manager.)
