Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and support garden center staff to achieve sales goals and deliver excellent customer experiences.
Operations Management: Oversee daily operations across multiple locations, including merchandising, inventory, and staffing.
Plant Care: Ensure the health, quality, and visual appeal of plants and displays.
Training and Development: Hire, train, and mentor team members to succeed in their roles.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales, inventory levels, and overall operational performance to upper management.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in retail, garden centers, or a related field.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
Skills: Strong leadership abilities with excellent organization and communication skills to motivate teams effectively.
Knowledge: Gardening or plant care experience is a plus (but not required).
Travel: Flexibility to manage and travel between multiple store locations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
