Important things to know about the job:

Full-time: 40 hours per week

Begin work on first shift (7:30a-4p) with possible second shift work (10:30a-7p)

Boiler certification preferred
-
Weekends and on call worked on a 6-9 week rotation
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for preventive maintenance and repair on hospital machinery and mechanical equipment utilizing hand and power tools, meter instruments, and testing equipment. Will perform general maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Graduate or GED equivalent preferred.

Ability as a Maintenance Technician.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Having and maintaining a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record is a condition of employment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing.
-
Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, for reading maintenance requests and repairing equipment.

Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.

Must be able to talk and hear to communicate with hospital employees.

Able to climb and work off ladders.
-
Able to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
