Details:
- Weekdays 8am-5pm
- Weekend or evening hours, only as needed
- On call rotation to begin after 6mos. On call approximately every 7 weeks.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Desktop Support Technician II is responsible for delivering Tier II support, managing system imaging, hardware configuration, and advanced troubleshooting across Stillwater Medical. This role involves supporting both clinical and business workstations, maintaining technical documentation, and mentoring junior technicians.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of desktop or technical support experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and endpoint protection
- Familiarity with cabling, telecom tools, and clinical software (e.g., Meditech, PACS)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Visual and auditory acuity to support hardware and communicate effectively
- Ability to travel across campus and to affiliated locations
- Manual dexterity and ability to move IT equipment as needed
