Full-Time Medication Technician (Med Tech) 3-11 AND 11-7
Stillwater Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Full-Time Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our assisted living community. Responsibilities
● Administer medications accurately and safely according to physician orders and state regulations.
● Document medication administration and resident care in a timely and accurate manner.
● Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to the Wellness Director or nurse.
● Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care to all residents.
● Respond promptly to resident call systems and emergencies.
● Maintain accurate records and ensure medication carts and supplies are organized and secure.
● Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and team members.
● Follow all community policies, infection control procedures, and safety standards.
● Help create a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment for our residents.
Qualifications
● Current Medication Technician certification.
● Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior living is preferred.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Dependable, organized, and compassionate.
● Ability to work independently while collaborating with the care team.
● Must be able to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.
