Job Description
Stillwater Academy, a respected therapeutic residential treatment center in South Jordan, is seeking compassionate and reliable Housing Staff to host teens overnight in their own homes. Housing Staff provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment that complements each student’s therapeutic journey.

Housing Staff are classified as 1099 independent contractors and are compensated for their time, support, and willingness to help with meals. For details on pay, please contact us directly.
Our students are working to overcome challenges such as trauma, addiction, strained relationships, and other mental health struggles. By welcoming them into a healthy home setting, you become a vital part of their healing process.
Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming, structured home setting for 3 teens nightly (pick up at 5:30pm; bedtime at 9:00pm; and drop off back at our facility at 7:00am the next morning) and weekends.
- Prepare meals, encourage homework/therapy goals, and offer emotional support
- Coordinate with our treatment team and follow trauma-informed protocols
- Maintain safety standards and documentation as trained
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old with high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a minimum of 2 adults living at the home
- Background check, TB test, and willingness to complete CPR and state certification
- Minimum 180 sq. ft. of bedroom space available for youth
- Flexibility and strong communication skills
- Passion for working with teens in a healing capacity
Compensation & Benefits:
- Paid per student per night (this payment includes meal reimbursement)
