About the Role
Stillpoint AEC is partnering with highly respected architecture and design firms throughout the Houston area to identify Architects for multiple permanent, full-time opportunities. We are working with a variety of established firms seeking architects at both the mid-level and senior level to support continued growth and expanding project portfolios.

Responsibilities
- Lead and support architectural projects from conceptual design through construction completion
- Prepare and coordinate construction documents, technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation
- Develop creative, practical, and technically sound architectural solutions for a variety of building types
- Coordinate with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and specialty consultants throughout project delivery
- Utilize Revit and BIM workflows to develop and coordinate project documentation
- Participate in client meetings, design presentations, consultant coordination, and project planning sessions
- Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, and regulatory standards
- Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittal reviews, site visits, and coordination with contractors
- Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and overall project management
- Mentor architectural staff and support professional development as experience level allows
- Contribute to maintaining strong client relationships and successful project delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program required
- Current experience within an architecture, design, or AEC consulting firm required
- Registered Architect preferred
- Candidates actively completing the ARE examinations and progressing toward architectural licensure are strongly encouraged to apply
- Experience with commercial, healthcare, higher education, K-12, multifamily, mixed-use, civic, industrial, hospitality, or institutional projects preferred
- Proficiency with Revit and BIM coordination workflows required
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction documentation, detailing, and project delivery
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects within a collaborative design environment
