**Job Summary:**
Stillhouse Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our team . The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the admissions process, ensuring efficient responses to hospital partners, tracking the referral process and driving that process towards generating admissions for new patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital setting and possess excellent organization, time management and multi-tasking skills.
**Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate patient admissions between various departments, including monitoring referral portals and eFax.
-Creating referral packet and circulating to departments for review. Coordinate follow up questions with hospital partners and relay information to inquiring departments. Track the referral process and drive towards a timely decision.
- Review patient documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide exceptional patient service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to facilitate the admissions process and ensure a smooth transition for patients.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
**Experience:**
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
