Practice Manager for Livestock Veterinary and Reproductive Clinic

StillGrass Veterinarians is an equine and livestock veterinary and reproductive practice serving North Central Illinois. Our mission is to support farmers and horse owners of all backgrounds in keeping their animals healthy - whether that be commercial herds, top equine athletes, or backyard farm animals. Our veterinarians are enthusiastic about serving a wide range of clients and are dedicated to providing the best service possible. They have specialty interests in reproduction, chiropractic and acupuncture and are always looking to offer new technologies and services to their clients.

We are looking to add a practice manager to our new business. This person will be regularly communicating with our clients, so a helpful and caring attitude is crucial. We have just started construction of our clinic and it will be completed by summer of 2023. We are currently providing mobile on-farm services to our clients. The majority of the workload will be client communication, social media management, calendar scheduling, inventory management, order fulfillment and billing. Initially, most of the work will be remote, but once construction is complete, most work will be at the clinic located at 3497 IL Rt 71 Marseilles, IL 61341 (2 miles south of Norway, IL).

Ideally, the candidate would have the following attributes:

● Welcoming and compassionate attitude, even in stressful situations
● A strong desire to work with and help people
● Some experience with livestock in order to best serve our clients
● General bookkeeping or inventory skills
● Available to answer the phone 30-40 hours per week
● Aptitude for computers and digital communication
● Willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks and open to new challenges

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
