Still Waters Vision Rehabilitation is a small local optometry practice providing functional vision evaluations, vision therapy, and neuro-visual rehabilitation. Job Description
The patient care coordinator is responsible for setting the practice’s tone from the very first interaction with patients along with handling all patient flow. You will play a key role in creating this environment.
A wide variety of duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting and assisting patients
- Answering phones
- Checking patients in and out
- Scheduling appointments
- Collecting and recording payments
- Organizing paperwork
- Sending reminder calls/texts to patients
This is a part time position. Hours expected to work are Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30am - 5:00pm and Thursday from 9:00am - 1:00pm with the potential for growth in the future.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Welcoming, professional, and friendly demeanor with all staff and patients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Good understanding of Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel.
- Desire to learn and have a growth mindset.
- Comfortable speaking with patients about finances.
- Self-motivated.
- Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and follow instructions.
- Ability to speak Spanish is not necessary but a plus.
Pay: $20-22/hr DOE.
