Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing practice. This position begins part-time with a clear pathway to full-time as your schedule fills.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults, values strong therapeutic relationships, and wants the benefits of private practice without the administrative burden.
Schedule
* Hybrid position (in-office and telehealth)
* Start approximately 1–2 days per week
* Goal of full-time within approximately 6 months
* Flexible scheduling
* Evening availability is a plus
* Must reside within approximately 30 minutes of Dade City, Florida
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
* Diagnose psychiatric disorders across the lifespan (ages 6 )
* Develop individualized treatment plans
* Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications
* Provide supportive psychotherapy during medication management visits
* Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR
* Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, schools, and families when appropriate
* Follow evidence-based standards while providing individualized care
Qualifications
Required
* Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited PMHNP program
* Current Florida APRN license
* Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
* Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
* Strong assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills
* Passion for delivering high-quality psychiatric care
Preferred
* Experience treating children and adolescents
* Experience in outpatient psychiatry
* New graduates are welcome to apply if eager to learn and receive mentorship
