Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Mental Health Counselor role based in Augusta, GA, with some in-office sessions; however, the work is primarily community based. The counselor will provide individual, couples, and family counseling, conduct intake assessments, and develop person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, coordinating care with other providers when appropriate, and participating in case consultations or team meetings. The counselor will utilize evidence-based interventions to address a range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. The role also involves supporting clients in crisis, promoting resilience, and contributing to a respectful, collaborative practice of culture. 

Qualifications 

• Demonstrated skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management to develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans. 
• Strong foundation in Mental Health and Psychology, with the ability to apply evidence-based therapeutic approaches. 
• Experience and competence in Relationship Counseling with couples and families, including conflict resolution and communication skills. 
• Relevant professional licensure or license-eligibility (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in the state of Georgia. 
• Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral health field. 
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with an inclusive and non-judgmental counseling style. 
• Ability to maintain ethical standards, client confidentiality, and accurate clinical records within regulatory and agency guidelines. 
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing both in-person sessions in Augusta and remote work responsibilities. 
• Previous experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, and families is highly beneficial.
