RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Individual Contributor - Mechanical
- With guidance, ensure first time quality of machines by following standard quality processes to inspect in-process and finished HMNA machines.
- Hold all HMNA associates accountable for machine quality by utilizing quality tools such as travelers and quality bulletins.
- With guidance, coach HMNA Production associates on standard manufacturing, commissioning, and inspection processes.
- Create, maintain and manage Quality Notifications through standard processes in SAP.
- Work with Quality Engineering personnel to continuously improve HMNA quality processes and standard work.
- With guidance, work with various HMNA personnel to complete quality project activities.
- With guidance, complete RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) investigations on HMNA machines that experienced quality escapes.
- With guidance, assist Supplier / Customer Quality with standard work should the need arise.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- General knowledge of industry accepted quality practices pertaining to industrial equipment
- General knowledge of PPAP fundamentals and application in a manufacturing environment
- General knowledge of in GD&T fundamentals and application in a manufacturing environment
- General knowledge of industrial equipment design, function and maintenance
- General knowledge of in metrology and metrology tools and practices
- General knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Proficient in utilizing standard programs in the MS Office suite.
- General knowledge of understanding and operating in SAP or comparable ERP system.
- Excellent communicator in both technical terminology and layman's terms.
- Self-starter
- Ability to evaluate and statistically develop trends and solutions.
- Understand the importance of quality and quality control in all aspects of daily tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- 0-5 years of quality experience.
- Education: High School Diploma
