Job Description
An Analyst’s specific responsibilities may include conducting industry research, building financial models to analyze company projections or potential transactions, drafting client presentation materials, and participating in client calls or meetings.
The primary role of the Analyst includes:
- Supporting deal teams in creating, maintaining and utilizing complex financial models
- Performing financial and valuation analysis such as discounted cash flow analysis and multiple valuation analysis
- Conducting company and industry research and gain in-depth understanding of sector trends
- Preparing client presentation materials in coordination with internal deal team and clients
- Developing a deep understanding of Investment Banking product and services
Qualifications
Analyst candidates should possess outstanding academic records and have demonstrated strong leadership ability through involvement in extracurricular endeavors such as student government, athletics, and cultural and entrepreneurial activities.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Disciplined work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous project deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Significant exposure to finance and accounting
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis preferred
- Ability to work in teams
- Highly-motivated and energetic
- Must be graduating in 2024
