The primary focus of the “Production Assistant” is to operate a lamination machine and assist the printing team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
- Completion of High School education or equivalent- Attention to detail related to product quality and machine process quality- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills- Aptitude for mechanical operation, manufacturing processes, and procedures- Excellent attendance and punctuality - accurately record work time daily- Interest and ability to grow professionally with support from Sticky Brand- Positive, going the extra mile, and thinking up better ways to do things all come naturally to you
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Inspecting products to ensure they meet our quality standards and remove defective items- Operate mechanical laminators and other print related machines- Maintain a clean, tidy production environment- Maintain a safe workplace by following safety rules- Offer ideas for continuous improvement within the manufacturing process- Understand large format print software and assist with print changes- Use equipment at an efficient pace
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Duties require standing (except breaks and lunch) throughout working shift- Able to lift 50 lbs. continuously and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs- Frequent walking, grasping, gripping, and fine hand manipulation- Visual acuity at short distances - able to detect variances in orders and cut marks
POSITION SCHEDULE DETAILS- Full-time in-person/on-site work position: (40 hours/week)- Location: 66 Bowdoin Street, Burlington, Vermont- Shift hours: 8.00-4.00 (includes 30-minute break).- Overtime is available upon request

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
