Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, following standard recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to provide excellent customer service and enhance their overall experience.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently by practicing effective time management and prioritization.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle POS transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and billing.
- Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs to management proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and authentically.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
- Experience in food industry roles such as serving, catering, or food service is advantageous.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage trends is a plus for enhancing guest offerings.
