Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and preparing ingredients when needed.
- Support the cleaning of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to maintain a hygienic workspace.
- Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure timely dishwashing during busy service periods and catering events.
- Handle food handling responsibilities in accordance with safety regulations to ensure proper sanitation.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and assisting with general cleanliness in dining areas when required.
- Contribute to maintaining an organized dishwashing station and restock supplies as necessary.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and food handling procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail-oriented work ethic.
