What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Leader - STICK IT at the Warren County Fair position at STICK IT?
You'll be working at Stick It at the Warren County Fair, August 10th-15th. Tear Down and pack up will be on Sunday August 16th. Must be 18 years old.
Overview
As a Shift Leader, you'll be at the forefront of daily store operations, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills, coordinate daily activities, and ensure smooth store functioning. Your energy, organizational prowess, and leadership will drive success and create a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Duties
- Supervise daily store operations, ensuring all activities run efficiently and smoothly during your shift
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation and availability
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in compliance with company policies
- Ability to travel to some events, catering events, local fairs, games, etc a plus.
- Make Korean Corn Dogs from scratch, prepping duties
- Working with Deep Fryers
- Keep tickets in order with food
- Be able to stand 6-8 hours at a time
Experience
- Proven shift leader or management experience in restaurants and customer service environments
- Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory management, and POS systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership in team management, training & development, and employee orientation
- Experience with retail math including budgeting, pricing strategies, and sales analysis
- Familiarity with cashiering procedures and cash handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous Shift Leader experience preferred
