BAKERY FOH Customer Service Part Time

Position Description:

• We are specifically looking for availability including Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
• This position is part-time with the expectation to work 20-24 hours/week depending on applicant's availability.
• We are particularly busy on Saturdays and leading up to holidays. Availability for both are required.
• If you’ve ever visited Stick Boy, you’ve likely been met with superior customer service! Join our team of counter staff to provide high quality service to our customers from near and far.
• You will not only be responsible for helping customers, but also maintaining the front-of-house bakery space, keeping product stocked, managing orders, and cleaning as necessary.
• We offer a full-service coffee and smoothie bar and all FOH staff are trained to serve the menu.
• Must have a positive, team-focused attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to continue learning.
• Customer service / barista experience desired but not required.

Pay and Benefits: $4.00 per hour base tip share (hourly wage averages $14.50-$16.50) with room to grow, overtime after 40 hours per week, accrued paid time off, accrued store credit per pay period, employee discount at Stick Boy and all sister businesses

Location: Stick Boy Bakery – 345 Hardin Street, Boone, NC 28607 (our retail and production space across from App State campus)
