Shifts Available: 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM (Day) - 02:45 PM – 11:00 PM (Evening) | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night)
About the Role
We are seeking experienced, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join the care team at a long-term care facility in Scranton, PA. CNAs will provide direct, hands-on care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, helping maintain their comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Openings are available on both the evening and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output accurately
- Support safe resident mobility, including transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
- Observe and promptly report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition to the nurse in charge
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment
- Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies
- Document care accurately and on time per facility procedures
- Provide respectful, patient-centered care and communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification in good standing (listed on the PA Nurse Aide Registry)
- Experienced CNA with a solid background in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work the assigned evening or night shift consistently
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents, and to stand and walk for extended periods
Pre-Placement Compliance (required prior to start)

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
