STGi is seeking a
Housekeeper
to provide services at our Georgia War Veterans Home.
Essential Functions:
Perform day-to-day activities of housekeeping as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor to assure the facility is maintained in a clean and comfortable manner.
Essential Functions:
- Clean, disinfect equipment and supplies, monitor environment for potential hazards, clean vacant rooms as assigned, ensure proper disposal of infectious waste(s) into appropriate containers and other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Work is typically performed in an environmentally controlled environment.
- Work is performed on multi-level facilities.
Required Skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Effective English communication skills
- Ability to understand basic housekeeping tasks consistent with facility priorities.
- Professional demeanor with resident community
Required Education:
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
