STGi is seeking a Dietary Aide to provide services at the William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home.

The William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home is located in Temple, TX. Our staff provides compassionate and specialized care to our nation's veterans. We focus on providing the best experience for residents and their families.

Essential Functions

• Provide assistance in all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food procedures.
  
  

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

• Ability to move intermittently throughout the day
• Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to meet the requirements of the position.
• Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  
  

Required Skills

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• On the job training will be provided.
• Effective English communication skills
• Professional demeanor with resident community
  
  

Required Education

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent
