STgenetics® is seeking a Financial & Business Systems Analyst to support our global business, finance, and accounting teams with business processes, reporting, data analytics, and technology solutions.
The Financial & Business Systems Analyst works closely with business stakeholders to understand operational and information requirements and translate those needs into effective technology solutions. This position is responsible for analyzing business processes and designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining applications, integrations, reports, and data solutions that support business needs across the organization.

The Financial & Business Systems Analyst works closely with business stakeholders to understand operational and information requirements and translate those needs into effective technology solutions. This position is responsible for analyzing business processes and designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining applications, integrations, reports, and data solutions that support business needs across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and information requirements and design and implement technology solutions that effectively address business needs.
- Partner with business, finance, and accounting stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
- Conduct interviews and working sessions with business users to understand workflows, challenges, and system requirements.
- Develop detailed requirements documentation, business process flowcharts, and workflow illustrations.
- Design and implement solutions utilizing Oracle technologies, open-source software, third-party services, SQL development tools, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Azure.
- Design solutions that meet business and user requirements and produce detailed documentation outlining technical approaches and system designs.
- Create wireframes and screen-flow designs for business validation using Excel, Balsamiq Mockups, or similar UI/UX design tools.
- Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications based on business requirements, design objectives, and detailed technical specifications.
- Create reports using Oracle APEX and detailed Excel extracts utilizing APEX Office Print (AOP).
- Design and improve Oracle APEX screens, layouts, and workflows to enhance usability and the overall user experience.
- Develop JavaScript programs to support browser-side functionality and business logic.
- Build REST web services within Oracle APEX.
- Design, implement, and maintain application security within Oracle APEX, including authentication and authorization.
- Develop PL/SQL programs to support Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data integrations.
- Develop command-line shell scripts, including BASH scripts, to perform routine operating system tasks.
- Maintain source code and code repositories using Git.
- Create relational data models for new applications based on the APEX data warehouse.
- Implement data models using scripts, Oracle Quick SQL, Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler, and related tools.
- Develop complex SQL queries and work with third-party databases and data structures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science, Computer and Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4 years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, software development, data analytics, database development, or a related field.
- Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with application development, data integration, reporting, and database design.
- Experience with Oracle technologies, including Oracle APEX and PL/SQL, preferred.
- Experience with JavaScript, REST web services, Git, and shell scripting preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and data requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to develop clear business and technical documentation.
