Director of Scheduling and Advance

Steyer For Governor
San Francisco, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 12/17/2025 CLOSED ON 1/17/2026

What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Scheduling and Advance position at Steyer For Governor?

Tom Steyer is a Democrat running for Governor of California in 2026 to tackle the single biggest challenge we face as a state: the Californians who built this state and make this state run can’t afford to live in California anymore. Tom Steyer has a long record of standing up to powerful corporations—and winning—and now he’s running for governor to hold the companies driving up prices accountable, make them pay their fair share, and make California affordable again. We are building a statewide movement focused on lowering costs, expanding access to housing, reducing energy bills, and strengthening public education. If you’re driven by economic justice, motivated by big fights that matter, and eager to help build a campaign that puts people—not corporations—at the center of California’s future, join us.

The Director of Scheduling and Advance drives the strategic planning and execution of all scheduling, advance, and event operations for the campaign. This role ensures tight coordination across the campaign’s political, communications, digital, policy, and senior leadership to maximize the candidate’s time and impact.

The Director will manage key staff and oversee every aspect of the candidate’s schedule, including calendar planning, on-the-ground trip and event logistics, legal and vendor coordination, and advance operations. They will build and maintain internal processes, manage event budgets, direct travel and briefing support, and ultimately ensure every aspect is aligned with campaign strategy and vision.
