Personal Qualifications: Ability to work with students identified through special education or the 504 processes in a classroom setting and often in a one-on-one setting. Communicates effectively with all staff, students, and parents. Ability to work independently and have good organizational skills. Flexible in performing multiple tasks and follows through on tasks assigned. Willingness to participate in paraprofessional training. Understanding of learning and emotional disabilities and willingness to learn and understand the needs of students with these disabilities.
