Duties
- Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles in compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently using appropriate equipment , ensuring damage-free handling.
- Assist customers with roadside emergencies by providing prompt, courteous service while managing expectations professionally.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before and after towing, documenting any damages or issues for reporting purposes.
- Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of tow trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Manage conflict situations with tact and professionalism when dealing with distressed customers or challenging scenarios.
Qualifications
- 21 yrs or older
- Clean MVR
- Obtain a DOT Physical
- Ability to pass pre employment drug screen
- Ability to work in all elements and make logical problem solving decisions .
- Proven experience operating tow trucks preferred but not required if willing to learn.
- Ability to load & unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment.
