What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Human Resources Coordinator position at Stewart's Shops?
We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Stewart’s Distribution and Manufacturing Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to grow within the Human Resources field.
Responsibilities:
• Review Plant job applications as well as schedule and conduct pre-screen interviews.
• Set up online onboarding and conduct new hire orientations.
• Track, edit and review our employee performance management program.
• Assist with explaining health benefits and participate in ESOP enrollment meetings.
• Coordinate monthly training seminars.
• Communicate timecard adjustments to the Corporate office to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Provide general administrative support with researching competitor pay and benefits, employee file maintenance, tracking and following up on personnel information.
Requirements:
• 2 years professional HR experience preferably focused on recruiting and onboarding.
• Capability to read applicants during the interview process and assist department managers with hiring decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience in a Distribution/Manufacturing environment is a plus.
