We’re seeking Facility Maintenance Technicians to support plant utilities, infrastructure, and system‑level maintenance. This role aligns with millwright‑style work, focusing on piping, welding, boilers, water systems, utilities, and facility infrastructure. It also includes development opportunities in industrial ammonia refrigeration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plant Utilities & System Support
- Maintain and troubleshoot steam, condensate, hot water, chilled water, glycol, compressed air, natural gas, HVAC support, and wastewater systems.
- Support boiler operation, inspections, and related equipment.
• Millwright & Fabrication Work
- Perform pipefitting, welding, cutting, and fabrication.
- Install, align, and maintain pumps, motors, rotating equipment, and structural components.
• Refrigeration Support & Training
- Assist with ammonia refrigeration system checks and documentation.
- Participate in company provided ammonia refrigeration training.
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Perform PM tasks on utilities and facility systems.
- Maintain maintenance records and support regulatory compliance.
- Assist with system upgrades, shutdowns, and facility projects.
Required Qualifications:
• Mechanical aptitude with system-level or millwright experience.
• Experience in piping, welding, fabrication, or mechanical installation.
• Ability to read blueprints and P&IDs.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in varied conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Carpentry skills and general construction knowledge a plus.
• Experience with boilers, steam systems, HVAC support equipment, or utilities.
• Food/dairy/beverage facility experience.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration (training provided).
Schedule:
• Full time positions available.
• 7AM-5:30PM (4, 10hr shifts) or 7AM-3:30PM (5, 8hr shifts), rotating schedule, weekends on occasion.
• Schedules include some weekends and holidays.
