What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cooler Warehouse Selector position at Stewart's Shops?
We have immediate openings available for our selector position in our Distribution Center and Manufacturing Plant located in Saratoga Springs, NY. This department supports getting our award-winning milk and refreshers to the shops.
Duties:
· Pull milk crates off conveyer belt using a dairy hook.
· Stage milk according to delivery route.
· Assist with order selecting when necessary.
· Accurately pick products for shops.
Requirements:
· Dependable with a team player attitude and effective communication skills.
· Detail oriented and organized with the ability to multitask and work independently.
· Ability to accomplish set goals and meet deadlines.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being safety conscious.
· Ability to be on your feet and do repetitive lifting (20-40lbs) and pulling (100 lbs) for several consecutive hours.
· Ability to work in various temperature-controlled environments (35-38 degrees).
· Ability to use or be trained to use power equipment such as forklift.
· Basic math skills.
Schedule:
· Full time position available.
· Schedule is 6:30am-5pm, 4 days a week.
· Rotating schedule includes some weekends and holidays.
· Starting pay is $19.50/hour.
· Earn an extra $1 for all hours worked on Sundays.
