What are the responsibilities and job description for the District Manager Trainee position at Stewart's Shops?
Stewart's Shops is a fast-growing convenience store chain in New York and Vermont with friendly store associates and great customers! Our employees own 1/3 of the company and share in the growth and profits. We are looking for an experienced multi-unit senior level manager for our shops.
Our ideal candidate has at least three years multi-unit convenience store or food service management experience and possess a hands-on, personal management style. This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule.
- Teach in context & be curious enough to find solutions.
- Effectively listen, anticipate, and communicate with partners (employees), senior management and district staff.
- Positively lead, motivate, and teach Stewart’s tools and solutions at by shop and at weekly district meetings.
- Initiate candid and honest conversations with others which our “smaller is nicer” management style fosters.
- Travel between district shops on a regular basis.
- Work flexible hours, days, shifts, including holidays.
- Salary: $90,000 - $100,000.
