Full-Time Position
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, organize, coordinate and direct department functions in order to achieve set organizational goals
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in order to keep laboratories within compliance for quality patient care.
- Manage a team of professional MLTs and Phlebotomists with the ability to coach, train, encourage and hold accountable to the Standards of Behavior
- Write, review, revise, and implement all policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all directors and physicians
- Promote and participate in hospital projects and public relations programs, patient surveys, and community education programs
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Fulltime position
- MLT/MT
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Associates degree accepted with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the Laboratory profession based on CLIA 1988 guidelines for technical supervisor
- ASCP or equivalent license required.
- Computer knowledge with Word, Excel required.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work with exceptional communication skills
