What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Unloader position at Stewart Distribution?
In our distribution center the first step is to properly receive in product from our various vendors. This shift starts at 5am sharp Mon-Friday. A receiving associate would be responsible for removing the pallets from the semi truck they came in on with a forklift, separate the goods off of a mixed pallets onto pallets of each type, and when the pallet of one type of product is received in and tagged. It then needs to be transported via forklift to the correct area in the warehouse. This may require use of our RF system. This job requires lifting cases up to 60lbs repeatedly at times throughout the day.
- This job is in a fast-paced, non-temperature controlled environment, requires you to be on your feet most of the day and heavy lifting is involved.
