Cargo Van / Sprinter Van Driver (1099 Independent Contractor) – Yakima, WA
Stewart Courier Services is seeking dependable and professional Cargo Van and Sprinter Van Owner-Operators for an upcoming dedicated courier route in the Yakima, Washington area.
We are currently building a team of qualified drivers for a potential contract opportunity. If awarded the contract, selected drivers will be contacted to begin the onboarding process.
Position Details:
- Location: Yakima, WA
- Schedule: Overnight Route (Approximately 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM)
- Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Dedicated courier route
- Competitive route pay ($180–$250 per day, depending on route requirements)
Requirements:
- Cargo Van or High-Roof Sprinter Van (Required)
- Valid driver's license
- Current vehicle registration and insurance
- Smartphone with GPS
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
- Ability to safely load, transport, and deliver packages
- Must be dependable, punctual, and customer-focused
- Background check may be required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous courier, delivery, medical courier, or logistics experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience driving overnight routes is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines.
