Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of restoration projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget as aligned with insurance companies
- Develop detailed project schedules using tools such construction management software to coordinate all phases of restoration work
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings to guide project execution
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to design specifications
- Coordinate with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to communicate project status and resolve issues promptly
- Prepare accurate construction estimates utilizing construction estimating techniques, software, and insurance estimates
- Oversee contract administration including scope changes, change orders, and compliance documentation
- Utilize construction site experience to troubleshoot issues on the ground swiftly while maintaining safety standards
- Ensure proper documentation of project activities through detailed reports and logs
- Manage time effectively across multiple projects by prioritizing tasks and maintaining clear communication channels
Skills
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools for scheduling and documentation
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and cost control measures
- Knowledge of insurance processes for disaster jobs
- Experience with project scheduling techniques including critical path method (CPM) scheduling
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to restoration projects
- Ability to manage contracts effectively while ensuring compliance with legal requirements
- Excellent project coordination skills with a focus on communication and stakeholder engagement
- Deep understanding of construction management principles and site safety protocols
