Position Summary: The client services manager oversees a team of client service specialists and paraplanners as they assist financial advisors with operational tasks to develop and execute clients’ financial plans. This role provides team training and supervision for duties ranging from account opening and money movement requests to CRM management, meeting preparation, and completion of financial reports. The client services manager is responsible for ensuring client requests and action items are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner and that the firm’s standards for exceptional client service are carried out with a high degree of consistency.
Core Functions & Accountabilities:
Provide training and direction to the firm’s team of client service specialists and paraplanners.
Oversee timely and accurate completion of client-related tasks, including:
- Meeting preparation.
- Financial report compilation.
- Account opening and updates.
- Processing and reconciling transactions.
- Distribution, transfer, and money movement requests.
- Annual required minimum distributions.
- Insurance quotes, applications, processing, and policy delivery.
- Data inputs for development of eMoney financial plans.
- Financial statement and tax return review for insights and relevant data.
- CRM updates for meeting notes, activities, and workflows.
- Completion of post-meeting action items.
Implement and develop, when needed, operational processes that deliver and enhance Stewards Planning Group’s client experience.
Supervise the client service team, including providing daily direction and feedback, facilitating team meetings, conducting annual performance reviews, and working with the Branch Operations Manager to create career development plans that support their growth.
Assist with special projects as needed, including 401(k) meetings, collaboration with CPA firms, large mailings, and planning firm events.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The client service manager may supervise 4-5 client service specialists and 1-2 paraplanners.

Skills & Requirements:
5 years of client service in the financial service industry required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred with concentration in business, economics, finance or a related field.
Experience in supervisory or managerial role preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communicator.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
