Position Overview

As a Patient Service Specialist - Float , you will support multiple DGFM locations, delivering exceptional front-office service and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day work.

What You Will Bring

• A warm, welcoming attitude and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
• Ability to manage a busy phone system: answering, transferring, and responding to patient inquiries.
• Skill in scheduling patient appointments efficiently and accurately.
• Experience collecting co-payments and verifying insurance information.
• Attention to detail in preparing the office for patient visits, including confirming appointments and communicating special instructions.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient profiles in the EMR system (Athena experience a plus).
• Flexibility to assist with general office tasks to ensure a clean, organized, and professional environment.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience as a medical secretary preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems strongly preferred (Athena experience is a plus).
• Willingness to travel between DGFM locations as needed.
