My grandpa, Stew Leonard Sr., opened the first Stew Leonard’s food store in 1969 in Norwalk, CT and my family still runs the business today. I grew up surrounded by family and farm fresh foods. Hourly-Weekly Pay
Must be at least 18 years or older.
Pay Range; $17.50/hr.-$18.50/hr. depending on qualifications and experience.
Position Description:
Cashiers complete the monetary transaction with customers by scanning and accepting money, checks, credit/debit cards, or other form of payment for purchases. Operate cash register in Wine store.

- Balancing the cash register
- Bagging items
- Generating the correct amount of change for customers

- Willing to work in other departments as the business needs
- Requires frequent walking, standing, reaching and bending, with occasional lifting up to 30 pounds
- Requires repetitive motion of arms and hands
- Potential exposure to hot and cold weather when operating cash register in outdoor seasonal shops
