Cashier/Sales Associate

Job Summary (MUST BE 18 )
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Sales associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service to store and lottery customers, managing sales transactions efficiently, and promoting products to enhance the shopping experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop sales skills, gain retail experience, and work in a dynamic environment that values communication and teamwork. Must have CT lottery cashier experience.

Duties

• Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Maintain merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and organized
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods with precision and security
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly and addressing their needs
• Manage stock levels by stocking shelves and organizing merchandise for easy access
• Support in inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
• Ensure the store area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations

Experience

• Prior retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math skills are advantageous
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle cash handling accurately and responsibly in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $16.94 per hour
