Job Summary:
Steves & Sons is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to support strategic and operational decision-making at our San Antonio facility. This position will partner with leadership across operations, inventory, production, and sales to analyze business performance, develop reporting tools, and deliver actionable insights that drive efficiency and growth.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical data analysis skills with business acumen and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analytics & Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards for leadership teams
- Track operational metrics, including production, inventory, labor efficiency, and overall plant performance
- Analyze sales and demand trends to support forecasting and planning
- Provide recurring and ad hoc reporting to support business initiatives and decision-making
Operational Support & Process Improvement:
- Partner with plant leadership and department managers to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
- Support ERP reporting and data validation across departments
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions based on reporting and trend analysis
- Assist with strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts through data-driven insights

Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- 3 years of business or data analysis experience, preferably in manufacturing or operations
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Experience with ERP systems and operational reporting preferred
- Proficiency with dashboard and data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation / Benefits:
- $80,000 – $90,000 annually (Exempt)
