Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator Assistant to join our team at Steves & Sons, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will provide critical support to our manufacturing operations, ensuring the smooth flow of production and timely delivery of our premium doors and door systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate records of Bill of Materials (BOMs), ensuring correct material assignments and assisting with construction and material queries
- Coordinate and manage inventory levels, including receiving, inter-plant transfers, and stockroom management
- Verify and manage orders, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.
- Prepare and print production schedules, and organize production trucks
- Manage documentation, including scanning and printing orders, and handling invoicing
- Develop knowledge of materials used in construction, including RAIL/STILES/SKIN/FOAM/PAPERCORE, and learn on the job
- Provide support in other areas as needed to ensure seamless operations and team success
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in production coordination, inventory management, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
