IT Controller

Job Summary:

We're seeking an IT Controller to oversee our financial management, project governance, and strategic coordination of initiatives within the Information Technology department. This role ensures that technology investments, timelines, and project outcomes align with the organization’s business objectives and continuous improvement strategy. The ideal candidate combines strong financial and project management acumen with technical insight and exceptional communication skills.

Strategic Planning:

• Participate in IT planning sessions to align technology initiatives with corporate strategy.
• Support the development of IT short and long-term plans, and system improvement roadmaps.

Project Oversight & Communication

• Maintain a comprehensive schedule of departmental projects, milestones, and deliverables.
• Prepare and distribute executive progress reports to ensure visibility into IT performance and priorities.
• Facilitate clear, consistent communication among IT teams, business units, and senior leadership.

Financial Management & Budget Control

• Develop, monitor, and report on the IT department’s budget, including current expenditures and future forecasts.
• Coordinate with accounting to track costs, manage capital investments, and ensure alignment with financial targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or a related field (required; master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, administration, or financial control.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional communication.
• Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, and IT governance principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing executive-level reports.
