Pay
$50.00–$60.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
What You'll Do
- Install residential heating and air conditioning systems, including oil and gas-fired equipment.
- Install furnaces, boilers, water heaters, air handlers, condensers, mini-split systems, and related HVAC equipment.
- Replace and upgrade existing heating and cooling systems.
- Read and interpret installation drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all installations comply with local codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding the installation process.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of oil-fired and gas-fired heating systems.
- Experience installing central air conditioning systems.
- EPA Certification preferred.
- Valid New York State driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and lead installation projects.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in both hot and cold environments and occasionally in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and other physically demanding conditions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude.
