Senior Category Manager (Indirect)

Our On-Demand Talent Solutions team is thrilled to announce that we are hiring a Senior Category Manager, Indirect Procurement on behalf of our valued client. Our client has improved the lives of patients who have insulin-requiring diabetes by using innovative technology that is wearable, waterproof, and lifestyle accommodating.

Summary: The Senior Category Manager, Indirect Procurement will work closely with stakeholders across a range of categories including Marketing, Facilities, HR, Consulting Services and other professional services, this position will develop sourcing strategies to achieve business objectives and work with suppliers to execute these strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders to plan annual spending and develop company-wide and department-focused sourcing strategies for procuring high-value outside goods and services.
• Lead RFP/RFQ development, supplier selection, and contract and pricing negotiations to optimize supplier value and support business objectives.
• Develop and implement standardized and customized RFP/RFQ processes that drive efficient supplier evaluation, selection, and long-term value.
• Lead cross-functional teams in partnering with suppliers to resolve issues, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen supplier performance.
• Build, develop, and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with organizational priorities.
• Support additional sourcing, procurement, and supplier management initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field required; MBA and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10 years of Procurement and strategic sourcing experience, with demonstrated expertise in indirect sourcing categories.
• Experience using SAP, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, eProcurement, and eSourcing systems/tools.
• Professional certification such as C.P.M. or CPSM preferred.
