We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Event & Facilities Support Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is primarily focused on weekend work, supporting events and helping with the day-to-day upkeep of our property.

Please note: This is a seasonal position with varying hours throughout the year. Our busiest season is generally April-June, August-December, while January-March and July are our slowest months. During the slow months, available hours may be significantly reduced due to fewer events and lower activity. Applicants should understand and be comfortable with this seasonal fluctuation in hours.
This is not a desk job. The position is hands-on and physically demanding, involving frequent lifting, carrying, standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities. You'll have a variety of responsibilities, and no two days may look exactly the same.
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down events, including tables, chairs, linens, outdoor ceremony chairs and other event equipment
- Break down and clean event spaces after events
- Wash and dry dishes, glassware, cookware, and other items as needed
- Assist with general property upkeep and maintenance
- Perform outdoor tasks such as pulling weeds, cleaning up grounds, and other basic landscaping duties
- Load, unload, move, and organize supplies and equipment
- Help with special projects and other manual-labor tasks as needed
- Work closely with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule
Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable, arriving to work on time and prepared to work
- Available to work primarily on weekends
- Comfortable with a seasonal work schedule and reduced hours during slow months
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work for extended periods
- Able to lift and carry tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies
- Comfortable working on your feet, bending, kneeling, lifting, and moving throughout the day
- Works well with others and contributes positively to a team environment
- Willing to perform a variety of tasks rather than being limited to one specific job duty
- Takes direction well and can also work independently when needed
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Previous event, hospitality, janitorial, maintenance, landscaping, or manual-labor experience is a plus, but not required
